Thank You, Employees: Our Fourth Year in a Row on the Tampa Bay Times Top Workplaces List

We’re fresh off a similar honor from the Tampa Bay Business Journal — and more inspired than ever to make sure we deserve these laurels.

Every year, the Tampa Bay Times surveys workers throughout the region for their feedback on the best places to work. For the fourth consecutive time, SBF employees have made the list of the top 100 workplaces, with “highly rated nonprofits, government agencies, small businesses and large corporations” in the cohort.

We were one of just two accounting firms to be honored by the Times, and we ranked in the Top 10 of the “Small” category, for businesses of 150 employees or fewer, placing eighth out of 40 honorees. Compared to last year’s ranking, we also jumped four places higher.

Back in October, members of our office filled out a Tampa Bay Times survey. On March 24, over breakfast at Tampa’s Centre Club, we learned our ranking — and that we were the only CPAs in the Small category.

SBF also recently found out that we are among the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s best workplaces for 2023, also determined by region-wide worker surveys and feedback. As an office that focuses on nurturing professional growth, in-office camaraderie and a true family culture, we’re proud to hear that our team members feel so supported.

Like most of the Tampa Bay Times honorees, SBF has been growing, and fast! If you’re interested in joining our team, we’re always hiring — and if you’re an accounting student, keep an eye out for information on our upcoming Summer Leadership Program.

To those whom we’re currently lucky enough to work with: Thank you once again for putting your trust in us to help you build the right future for you, for our clients and for SBF overall.
